Grace's Success Story

Working for snapscale Just Feels Different

Grace
Virtual Assistant

Grace is no stranger to the corporate world. Working for snapscale feels nothing like the corporate environment she experienced previously.

Today, as the virtual executive assistant for the COO and CEO of Myro, an emerging eCommerce brand offering natural body care products, Grace prepares reports, monitors product shipments, updates daily inventory, and handles other routine and urgent tasks.

"Working for snapscale has a different feeling," Grace said. "In other places, I didn't always feel respected by managers or close to my co-workers. Everyone is very supportive here. I feel like they're here beside me, even though I work from home. If I ask our operations manager for advice before I do something for a client, I get a response right away."

Grace points out that even the senior executives at snapscale are accessible and willing to listen. Working for other companies, she didn't have open lines of communication with executives. With snapscale, she doesn't just feel heard. She feels comforted and supported.

"I Feel Like I'm Part of the Family"

Grace has a daughter in college with very high tuition costs. She reluctantly asked snapscale for an advance on her salary to cover tuition. Management agreed to the advance, helping Grace avoid financial hardship.

Not long after receiving the advance in pay, Grace's laptop broke down. Obviously, as a remote worker, she needs a reliable laptop to maintain the highest level of productivity. Grace was prepared to pay for a replacement with a high-interest credit card because she wanted to continue working. snapscale recognized that.

This time, Grace didn't even ask for help. snapscale offered to purchase the laptop as long as she made monthly payments over the next 12 months to pay back the loan - with zero interest. Allowing Grace a year to pay off her laptop interest-free likely saved her hundreds of dollars.

"It's not easy to ask an employer for help, but they've always made me feel like I'm part of a family," Grace said. "They understand these kinds of situations because they take the time to listen to their staff. They want us to succeed and be happy, and I'm so grateful for that."

Grace loves that snapscale brings all teams together from the Philippines, India, and the U.S. for quarterly meetings. With other corporate employers, Grace only spoke to department heads. With snapscale, everyone has an opportunity to interact with leadership.

"My love for snapscale has grown deep because I'm part of a family," Grace said. "I think you should love your job and your company will love you. My wish is that snapscale grows and opens new locations and that I'm a part of it. I don't like what I've heard about other BPOs (business process outsourcing companies) in the Philippines. The circle is so big for their staff and most of their employees don't last. At snapscale, they make the circle smaller. We all know that we're appreciated, and they're always there for us."
