Welmerly's Success Story

Welmerly had worked for other business process outsourcing companies in the Philippines. To say the work environment was stressful would be an understatement.
"I worked at a help desk and every person who called had a different question or concern," Welmerly said. "The job was very broad and complicated, and I really didn't have any opportunity to offer feedback to managers. It was a very stressful situation."
Welmerly was referred by a friend to snapscale in 2017. She enjoyed the job but had to resign in 2018 to care for her grandmother. The operations manager at snapscale later contacted Welmerly and asked her to return. She accepted a position as a healthcare virtual assistant (VA) in 2020. As part of a comprehensive onboarding process, Welmerly received full training to ensure that she could hit the ground running.
As a healthcare VA, Welmerly's primary function is to verify eligibility for insurance benefits and follow up with patients to discuss out-of-pocket expenses. She also fields calls from patients to schedule and confirm appointments and answer billing questions.
Today, Welmerly provides healthcare VA services to a single client, Impact Physical Therapy in East Windsor, NJ. Earlier this year, we published a case study that shows how the practice has benefited from these services in terms of efficiency, improved patient experience, and increased patient volume.
Impact Physical Therapy had set a goal of adding three to four patients per week. In early January of 2022, despite the Covid surge and cold weather, they welcomed 10 new patients in one week.

Welmerly enjoys working for snapscale. She works hard but doesn't feel the daily stress she experienced with previous employers. As a result, Welmerly has received high praise from both snapscale and Impact Physical Therapy.
"I love our family here," Welmerly said. "We have a genuine camaraderie. When the operations manager comes to the office, he meets with us one by one and asks how we're doing. We can ask questions and chat about out life experiences. We receive helpful feedback and we're encouraged to provide feedback about our jobs."
Low stress and regular interaction with management motivate Welmerly to excel. She has not been late or absent a single time. Thanks to positive client and manager feedback, Welmerly has been included in the High-Performance Club and received financial incentives and prizes.
There are also day-to-day perks that make Welmerly's experience with snapscale enjoyable, convenient, and rewarding. She receives a livable wage, health insurance, and free lunch every day. If there's heavy rain, flooding makes it difficult for Welmerly to get to the street, so snapscale sends a van to pick her up and bring her to work.

"I hope to continue growing with snapscale and maybe obtain a higher position with the company," Welmerly said. "I'm thankful to be treated so well and I enjoy coming to work every day. It's a great place to work."
